What Is DASA?

The Dignity For All Students Act (DASA) is groundbreaking legislation passed by the New York State Education Department ensuring all students in NYS receive an education in an environment free from discrimination and harassment. 

Effective December 31, 2013 all applicants for State Certification are required to complete six clock hours of coursework or training in accordance with Article 2 Sections 10-18 of the Education Law.

Daemen University provides this DASA training for teachers, counselors, administrators, aides, assistants, coaches, and any other school employees that need the training!  Located in Erie, County, we are close to Buffalo, Amherst, Cheektowaga, Depew, Lockport, Clarence, and other areas of Western New York!

Due to the online flexibility, we serve all of New York State, including Albany, New York City, Long Island, etc.!  Our reporting times are fast, which will meet New York City DOE Sub requirements! 

All trainings are being held via Zoom due to COVID-19, so anyone is eligible to take the training!
